Centre Court Drama and More with Wimbledon Debenture Holders!

Wimbledon

June 30, 2026

Centre Court is the most historic tennis stage of them all. And the Day One drama didn’t disappoint at Wimbledon 2026. But a ticket with Wimbledon Debenture Holders offers so much more.

We used the opening day of the Championships to put our debenture ticket experience to the test. A member of our team became a customer for the day.

And we’re delighted to give you a reminder of what you get for your money. It goes way beyond the unforgettable tennis.

Centre Court with WDH on the first day of Wimbledon 2026 meant superb tennis drama on the court. And reassuring luxury off the court. Here’s how our team member did it.

‘I avoided joining the long queue of people who didn’t have debenture seats. My queue was so short, you could barely call it a queue at all.

‘I entered the All England Club with the minimum of fuss, not long before play began on the outside courts. And there’s a perfect way to take in the scene.

‘Showing my ticket on my phone at the main debentures entrance to the Centre Court complex, I was given an elegant wrist band. That way I didn’t need to show my ticket again for the rest of the day.

‘I went straight up to the Roof Top Bar with its spectacular view over the outside courts. You can see right across to the city of London’s sensational skyline. It’s a lovely way to remind yourself of the unique location you’re about to enjoy.

‘Down I went to watch the first set of young American hope Iva Jovic against Jacqueline Cristian, which ended in victory for Jovic.

‘The midday summer sun was making be feel very hot, so I used my Wimbledon Debenture Holders ticket to enter another exclusive setting in the breezy upper echelons of the All England Club.

‘The Gallery Bar stretches along from Courts 14 to 17 about a hundred feet up in the cooler air. The balcony there offered a wonderful vantage point to watch some of Andrey Rublev’s match against Roman Saffiulin.

‘You could hear Rublev’s defiant cries below, as he fought his way back into a match he was destined to lose in five.

‘At this point I could have dined at one of the exclusive debenture restaurants, such as the excellent Renshaw. But I realised I needed to charge my phone.

‘Centre Court with Wimbledon Debenture Holders had that covered. The friendly staff put my mobile in a “phone charge locker” and gave me the key. Half an hour later my phone was good to go.

‘Now it was time to take my Centre Court seat – right behind the action! At the other end I could see former footballer and British icon Sir David Beckham in the Royal Box!

‘Jannik Sinner almost lost to underdog Miomir Kecmanovic in a pulsating first match. You could feel the defending champions nervousness. Almost touch it! That’s how close I was.

‘The world number one eventually found his feet and edged a five-set thriller. But not before both men played their part in one of the great tie-break points of all time. We all gave the gladiators a standing ovation!

‘Aryna Sabalenka made shorter work of her opponent, Teodora Kostovic. Aryna’s power was awesome to behold at close quarters, though.

‘And the evening match involved the greatest p[layer of all time, Novak Djokovic. He too looked as though he might go out early.

‘But he stayed composed. And when a romantic couple spontaneously got engaged very near me, Novak looked up with a smile and demanded they invite him to the wedding! What scenes!

‘Then it grew darker and the roof closed. Novak won through in a new but equally spectacular atmosphere under the lights. I saw it all. I loved it all.

‘Centre Court felt incredibly special from my Wimbledon Debenture Holders seat. A fitting way to watch the world’s very best – up close and personal.’
