Madison Keys Wins Eastbourne In Wimbledon 2023 Hint

Wimbledon

July 2, 2023

Madison Keys has announced her credentials as one to watch at Wimbledon 2023.

Her success at Eastbourne is a repeat of her first ever WTA triumph way back in 2014.

‘To win here again gives me really good memories of Eastbourne, it feels like home,’ Keys said.

She beat Daria Kasatkina 6-2, 7-6 (15-13) to hold her nerve, after squandering match points along the way. ‘It was a really stressful tie-breaker,’ she admitted.

Victory was always going to be hard-earned and well-deserved. But what does it all mean for Wimbledon 2023? Confidence is important.

Keys explained: ‘If you told me two weeks ago where I’d be now, I wouldn’t have believed you. It’s been a tough year – and to be able to hold this trophy is amazing.’

Madison Keys can go deep at Wimbledon 2023 – and America has yet another contender.

We’re already looking forward to seeing the likes of Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula. Add Keys to the list now, as the action at the All England Club draws near.

We mustn’t forget that Keys is a big-name player, who has come close to great things in the past.

She was a US Open finalist in 2017 – and she has reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon before.

Now Keys can go into Wimbledon 2023 with the exciting combination of precious little pressure but promising recent success.

Add to that her growing maturity, and she will definitely be a player of interest at SW19, the home of tennis.

Madison plays little-known Brit, Sonay Kartal in her Wimbledon opener on Tuesday. She could get off to a flying start.

No one has won Eastbourne and then Wimbledon since Jana Novotna in 1998. But why shouldn’t Madison achieve just that?

The women’s tournament looks wide open and there for the taking.

Madison Keys could fulfil her potential and create some American glory at Wimbledon 2023.

Hundreds of American fans will be at Wimbledon 2023 to watch their favourites.

Will you be among them?

We’re just a friendly phone call away to make sure you enjoy some of the best seats on Wimbledon’s show courts.
