He said: ‘I feel really comfortable on grass – and I am really pleased with my level. I will have to change my expectations, with this level now.’
That means he truly believes he can win Wimbledon 2023!

‘I really enjoyed myself,’ the Spaniard said. ‘I love it here. I’m learning and I’m so happy with this.’
Carlos has never looked quite this comfortable on grass before. He came to the net at will – and used soft, killer hands to seal the deal.
To be able to serve and volley when he feels the need will be a massive asset at Wimbledon 2023. And those feet look so much more secure now on grass. They are the engine room for everything.
