Roger Federer at Wimbledon 2023 – It Just Feels Right!

February 7, 2023

Roger Federer will be a star attraction around the All England Club at Wimbledon 2023.

We think he will feature on Centre Court too – elegant as ever but this time with a microphone in his hand.

Doesn’t it just feel right that the most popular player in tennis history will be there?

Roger Federer and Wimbledon 2023 were always going to find a way to work it out.

It’s fantastic for tennis fans to feel that they will be able to rub shoulders with this absolute legend at the greatest tournament of them all.

Federer adds to the glamour of the tournament just by commentating there.

The BBC are reported to be on the verge of striking a deal with the Swiss superstar to be part of their team at Wimbledon 2023.

Negotiations are at an advanced stage and everything is looking promising. The BBC may share the payment of Roger’s wages with another broadcaster, ESPN.

For the most prestigious tournament of them all, it’s just a perfect scenario. Let’s face it, Federer is going to be a natural broadcaster!

He is smooth and stylish and never says the wrong thing. He is classy and kind and he will be super-perceptive as history unfolds.

Who better than Roger Federer as the expert on hand to assess the enormity of an achievement?

If Novak Djokovic becomes the greatest of all time at Wimbledon 2023, it has to be Roger to interview him and summarise!

And if there is dramatic disappointment for any player, Federer knows that feeling too.

He has shed tears of despair and tears of joy on Centre Court.

Now he can just watch all the drama unfold with objectivity and humour.

Roger Federer could comfortably take over the on-court presentations from former favourite Sue Barker.

He is just as loved. And even though he isn’t British, he is already a national institution in the UK!

Roger Federer and Wimbledon 2023 are all part of the classic English summer.

No wonder he suddenly realised he was made for the job of polished presenter.

Federer said quite recently: ‘I never thought I would say this. But six months ago, I suddenly thought about commentating on tennis – even though I said before I’d never do that. Now I guess I can imagine it.’

We can all imagine it. We want Roger Federer to be a permanent fixture at Wimbledon – just like John McEnroe, who is there every year.

Are you looking forward to rubbing shoulders with celebrities and sporting legends at Wimbledon 2023?
