Cameron Norrie Reaches Wimbledon 2022 Quarter Finals

Wimbledon

July 4, 2022

Cameron Norrie is the quiet Brit with the biggest success story at Wimbledon 2022.

He just keeps on winning and never complains about the extra attention given to his compatriots.

We have talked plenty about the home-spun superstars, Andy Murray and Emma Raducanu.

And Heather Watson’s exploits rightly received plenty of attention too.

Cameron Norrie has made the biggest impact at Wimbledon 2022 among the Brits though!

He beat the tough American Tommy Paul 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 in his last-sixteen showdown on No1 Court.

And now Norrie surely deserves a Tuesday billing on Centre Court against his seasoned quarter-final opponent, David Goffin.

The tenacious Belgian has returned from injury problems to sparkle this year on grass. He has plenty of big-time experience and won’t be overawed by the huge occasion.

Yet Norrie has the talent and form to beat Goffin and advance to the semi-finals if he plays his best tennis.

Imagine Cameron Norrie in the semi-finals at Wimbledon 2022 and cheered on by all of Britain!

Meanwhile Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal keep winning and they are still on course for their much-anticipated Wimbledon men’s final.

One man in particular could yet have a say about that, however.

Nick Kyrgios is in stunning form despite all the controversy surrounding his conduct on court.

The Australian might just face Nadal in the semi-finals!

Nadal and Kyrgios have clashed at Wimbledon before and the Spaniard emerged triumphant last time.

That battle would be totally electric and the tennis world is hoping it could still happen.

Rafa often plays the big moments best against Kyrgios. But Nick also knows he can beat the all-time-great because he has done it before.

In that projected semi, whoever wins through will likely have Djokovic waiting in the final.

So Novak remains favourite for his 21st Grand Slam – and that would keep him in touch with Nadal on 22 majors.

But the beauty of Wimbledon 2022 is that no one knows for sure what is going to happen!

We did tell you to expect the great Roger Federer to make a surprise appearance at Wimbledon on Sunday, though!

Did you see him and did you take part in the standing ovation? Trust us for the best analysis.

And you just know we will get you the best tickets for the business end of Wimbledon 2022.
