Nick Kyrgios and Taylor Fritz Sign Up for Halle before Wimbledon

Nick Kyrgios is plotting a comeback that could see him play at Wimbledon 2026!

Ultimately that would depend on the All England Club granting the controversial Australian his grass court wish.

But Kyrgios memorably reached the final at Wimbledon in 2022 – and he simply adores the place.

Nick Kyrgios is box office – and it will be hard to turn him away from Wimbledon 2026 if he can prove his fitness first.

That’s where Halle comes in. The event takes place between June 13 and 21 – with Wimbledon starting on June 29.

The more matches Kyrgios can play on grass – and he has already been linked with Stuttgart – the more he will impress.

Nick openly admitted earlier this spring: ‘I’m working towards Wimbledon.’

But the former bad boy of tennis has only played one competitive match so far this season – a first round defeat in Brisbane.

That experience told Nick his body wasn’t ready for the rigours of the Australian Open, his home Grand Slam event.

But Kyrgios loves Wimbledon even more. And the 31-year-old would cherish a few first-week matches to remind the crowds what they have been missing.

Nick Kyrgios will provide thrilling entertainment at Wimbledon 2026 – if he makes it.

And his possible participation reminds us of the value of those early show court tickets at Wimbledon too!

Every year, a big name is knocked out before the second week of Wimbledon. Make sure you see your favourite player in action before it’s too late!

Meanwhile Taylor Fritz aims to be back to his very best for Wimbledon 2026 too. The American will join Kyrgios at Halle.

Fritz hasn’t been in meaningful action since the Miami Open in March. But he thinks he can manage his knee tendonitis to hit peak fitness for the British summer.

Nick Kyrgios and Taylor Fritz will bring some extra star quality to Wimbledon 2026, assuming all goes well with their preparations.

Will you be there too? We’d love to make that happen for you.
