Jack Draper Secures Top Four Seeding for Wimbledon 2025!

Jack Draper has given himself a great shot at Wimbledon 2025 glory.
The battle between the Brit and American Taylor Fritz for the fourth seed spot at Wimbledon is over.
Draper defeated Brandon Nakashima 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 in the Queen’s quarters after Fritz and his challenge had faded much earlier in the tournament.
That marked contrast in rivals’ fortunes ended all argument – and secured Draper the world number four status he craved.
Jack Draper now has a superb chance to reach the Wimbledon 2025 semi-finals. But he is playing the implications down for now.
Asked if the seeding makes a difference, he said: ‘Not really. I keep on getting asked by the journalists about a top four seeding.
‘But to be in that position is an incredible feeling. To go in ranked fourth is testament to all the hard work I’ve done with my team.’
For now Jack is just delighted to be in the Queen’s semi-finals. He explained: ‘Means the world today. The support I’ve received this week has been amazing.
‘To be in the semi-finals here is something I’ve wanted since I was a little kid so it means the world to me.’
The added bonus is massive. At Wimbledon 2025, Draper can’t play anyone rated more highly than him until the last four. Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner will have to wait.
And ideally Draper will have plenty left in the tank for his semi-final showdown – if he gets there.
When there are only two matches between you and the Wimbledon title, anything can happen.
We have already seen Jannik Sinner falter on grass this summer. Carlos Alcaraz has looked slightly shaky at times too. Novak Djokovic may fade in a five-setter after nearly a fortnight at a major.
Draper can therefore start dreaming of emulating his friend and hero Sir Andy Murray – by winning Wimbledon.
Jack Draper is now one of the top four contenders for Wimbledon 2025 – the most historic tennis tournament on earth.
