Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz Are Still Adapting to Grass

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are only human – although we might not think so after their stellar final at Roland Garros.

Most players struggle to adapt immediately to the tricky conversion from clay to grass at this time of year. The world’s two greatest tennis stars are no exception.

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz could still give us one of the greatest finals Centre Court has ever seen when Wimbledon 2025 reaches its climax.

But for now they remain a few days short of finding their best rhythm. The Italian world number one just lost to the dangerous Alexander Bublik in three sets.

It was Bublik who produced a superhuman display to down Jack Draper at Roland Garros. But his 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Sinner was an even greater shock.

Meanwhile at Queen’s, Alcaraz appeared to be in big trouble too. After squandering match points in the second set tie-break, he was 2-4 down in the decider to Jaume Munar.

But Carlitos secured a record fifteenth consecutive victory of his extraordinary career to close out 6-4, 6-7 (7-9), 7-5. And that was a very popular comeback with the Queen’s Club crowd.

Not only is Alcaraz reigning Wimbledon champion, he has just confirmed he will be playing mixed doubles with Britain’s Emma Raducanu at the US Open.

‘She’s gonna be the boss,’ said the Spanish sensation, clearly looking forward to the partnership already.

And although they won’t be teaming up at the Championships, it adds an interesting twist to our regard for both players.

Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu will all have intriguing stories to tell at Wimbledon 2025. How will it unfold at the All England Club?

You can be there to find out. Watch these phenomenal players at close quarters and be amazed.
