Andy Murray has earned himself a spectacular test in Germany after beating seventh seed Alexander Bublik in style.
The reward is what promises to be a hugely entertaining showdown with Stefanos Tsitsipas.
And how Murray performs against the world number five should tell us where he is in his Wimbledon preparations.

This is just the kind of big-name opponent Murray craves in the twilight of his career.
Murray v Tsitsipas on Centre Court in the second week of Wimbledon 2022 would be just perfect!
And don’t forget, this is Centre Court’s Centenary Year and the Championships will feel even more historic than usual.
But let’s just celebrate Murray’s return to form for now.
The favourite from Kazakhstan was so frustrated by the Scot’s brilliance that he openly began to swear and despair in Russian as he asked whether Murray would ever make another mistake!
Bublik had his chance in the second set at 5-2 up and Murray said later: ‘He was finding everything just right but then I held under pressure and had a good run of games.’
That is something of an understatement. Andy simply refused to allow his rival to find parity.
And eventually he avenged defeat in Indian Wells by winning through in dramatic style 6-3, 7-6 (7-4).
Always amusing, Murray also suggested that his wife would be pleased with his prolonged run abroad because she doesn’t like it when he is at home too much!
In reality everyone in the Murray camp will be delighted with his progress. The return of Ivan Lendl to the team has clearly paid dividends already.

Tsitsipas is a formidable opponent for the warm-up tournament in Stuttgart of course. He has power and versatility to go with those movie-star looks.
But Murray has all the craft and experience and it should be a fascinating match-up.
Tsitsipas had to negotiate a rain-delayed contest against Dominic Stricker. But he did so skilfully by 6-3, 6-4 to leave plenty in the tank.
Stefanos will hope for a deep run at Wimbledon 2022 to please all those Greek fans in London too.
