Coco Gauff was so impressive during her surprise win over Iga Swiatek that we can now start to look forward to her glorious force on tour next year.

And that resurgence is great news for Wimbledon fans. It’s lovely to see one of their firm favourites hit the heights once more.

Coco Gauff will surely be a superstar to watch at Wimbledon 2025, as she seeks to go deep into the second week at last.

Coco first came to prominence at Wimbledon as a gutsy 15-year-old who showed no fear on the historic Centre Court.

And her US Open triumph last year was obviously the highlight of a glittering career so far.

Gauff has also been all the way to the final of the French Open – and reached the semis in Australia.

But despite originally making her name at Wimbledon, she has never been past the fourth round here.

Losing to Emma Navarro this year was something of a shock – although Coco’s compatriot made huge progress all summer and had probably been underestimated by the tennis world until then.

Coco Gauff just needs to keep her serve consistent to become a major force at Wimbledon 2025. Now that she has reached full maturity, it should happen naturally.

Against the fearsome Swiatek, Coco’s only significant wobble came in her first two service games of the second set. But she soon regained her composure to take the contest by an emphatic 6-3, 6-4.

The unforeseen reverse for Swiatek means she cannot end the year as world number one. The honour will go to Aryna Sabalenka, with whom Gauff has now booked a place in the last four in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Remarkably, Coco hadn’t beaten Iga since Cincinnati last year. And this is only the second time she has managed to down the brilliant Pole in thirteen attempts.

Gauff admitted: ‘It feels great. Despite our head-to-head, I had a lot of confidence going into the match. Even when I was playing a little bit sloppy, I knew that if I stayed solid I had the chance to close out.’

That sounded like a player who knows she is good enough to beat anyone if she puts her mind to it. Can the 20-year-old use that confidence to clinch the greatest Grand Slam of them all next year?

Coco Gauff in the final at Wimbledon 2025 would be a massive thrill for her supporters all over the world. She commands a huge following and immense affection at the All England Club. Everyone still remembers her heroics as a young teenager.

Will you be at Wimbledon 2025 to see whether Coco can make her dream come true on grass in the place she calls “my garden”?

Book your tickets now through our friendly staff. Then you can look forward to watching all the drama unfold on the historic Centre Court next summer.
