Jannik Sinner has created a piece of pure magic as he begins his Wimbledon 2024 preparations as the new world number one.

To see the Italian throwing himself around on grass makes every true tennis fan long for the start of the real action at the All England Club in July.

Jannik Sinner is ready to display similar acrobatics on Centre Court at Wimbledon 2024! And he’ll need all his athleticism to defeat reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz.

Sinner produced a sprawling winner in Halle that simply defied belief. Not only was he moving the wrong way when the ball hit the top of the net and seemed to die before him.

There simply wasn’t enough time to cover the distance before the second bounce – let alone direct a deft cross-court winner.

Somehow a diving Sinner made the shot and rolled away in triumph, leaving his opponent Tallon Griekspoor standing there in astonishment.

Jannik Sinner simply laughed at his own talent and brilliance. In that moment he must have known he is capable of absolutely anything on a tennis court.

And then there was the context to consider. Sinner had lost the first set in a dramatic tie-break. With this superhuman reach, he was able to break and turn the tide for good.

Jannik took the match 6-7 (8-10), 6-3, 6-2. His Dutch rival simply never recovered from such staggering resistance.

And there is a feeling that even if Novak Djokovic does make Wimbledon 2024, he may not be able to match Sinner and Alcaraz this time around.

Andy Murray is going to be there too. And he showed typical grit in his opening match at Queen’s to stifle a comeback from Alexei Popyrin.

After he claimed a battling 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 victory, Murray mused: ‘It has been a difficult season but I did well to come through in the end.

‘Any win you can get is important. Obviously with Wimbledon a few weeks away I want to build up confidence and get matches in my legs.’

Jannik Sinner and Sir Andy Murray will do everything to make a big impression at Wimbledon 2024.

And we hope you are there on beautiful Centre Court to see the very best of the historic action. You can give us a call to secure your seats.
