Emma Raducanu is showing some scintillating form in the build-up to Wimbledon 2024.
The former US Open winner has reached the quarter-finals at Nottingham after two encouraging wins on grass.
Emma Raducanu will now be targeting the second week at Wimbledon 2024.
And on current form there is no reason why she can’t thrill once more at her home Grand Slam.
Emma is enjoying her tennis again after hooking up with former Wimbledon finalist Ons Jabeur for practice at this action-packed tournament in the Midlands.
Raducanu has reached her first WTA tour quarter-final on grass – even though she reached the second week at Wimbledon before her stunning US Open glory.
Nottingham is providing the perfect warm-up for Raducanu as Wimbledon 2024 approaches. And she has taken her opportunities with both hands.
Emma just beat Daria Snigur 6-2, 6-2 – and thundered down an impressive eleven aces in the process. And crucially Raducanu is feeling super-fresh and enthusiastic after her long spells out through injury.
She said: ‘I should celebrate every single win like it’s my first win ever. I know how hard they are to come by. Every win for me is great.
‘I’m pleased with my levels. If I keep putting out good levels on the practice courts then the results will come.’
Emma Raducanu will already be looking forward to emphatic support from her home audience on beautiful Centre Court at Wimbledon 2024!
Meanwhile the Wimbledon 2024 organisers are ready to mark Andy Murray’s expected farewell in their own unique way.
Sally Bolton, chief executive at the All England Club, said: ‘We have certainly got plans in place and we’re ready and prepared. But ultimately it’s Andy’s decision and we’ll very much be led by him and we can amend our plans accordingly.’
