Iga Swiatek Is Looking Unbeatable At Roland Garros

Iga Swiatek is on a seemingly unstoppable charge toward the Roland Garros final.
She just saw off the plucky American Coco Gauff 6-4, 6-2 – and now she is one step from the showpiece occasion.
Beatriz Haddad Maia of Brazil will be the next to try to make an impression on the Pole’s awesome armoury.
But the reigning Roland Garros champion has won the title twice in the last three years – and she looks likely to make it a hat-trick on this form.
Then Swiatek’s thoughts will turn to grass, and the glittering stage of the All England Club.
Iga Swiatek has never won the greatest Grand Slam of them all. But that could change at Wimbledon 2023.
It’s just a few weeks away now – and anyone witnessing Swiatek in full flow on grass will see something very special on Centre Court.
In the mean time, there is one player who might just spoil Iga’s party in Paris.
Aryna Sabalenka has been showing some devastating power on clay. She recently beat Elina Svitolina 6-4, 6-4 in the quarter-finals.
Waiting in today’s semi-final is Karolina Muchova, who will remain the outsider.
We expect to see the final fought out between Swiatek and Sabalenka.
That is the showdown the tennis world wants to see on Saturday – and their wish will probably be granted.
Meanwhile the participants in the second men’s semi-final have been established.
Sascha Zverev is playing with great force and precision. He overcame Tomas Etcheverry 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in their quarter.
And last night Norwegian hot-shot Casper Ruud beat Denmark’s Holger Rune 6-1, 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 to earn the right to face Zverev in the semi.
Iga Swiatek and Sascha Zverev will be among the biggest stars to grace Wimbledon 2023!
