Jack Draper To Face Rafael Nadal At Australian Open!

Australian Open

January 12, 2023

Jack Draper and the rest of the Brits face some epic tests at the Australian Open.

The young Brit faces top seed Rafael Nadal in the first round.

It promises to be an epic contest against the man with the most Grand Slams in men’s tennis history.

But make no mistake, Nadal won’t be thrilled to see that he faces the dangerous Draper in his opening match.

Jack took a set off the great Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon two years ago.

And he has grown in strength and experience since then to enter the world’s top forty.

Draper will believe he can catch Nadal cold in Melbourne after the Englishman already reached the Adelaide semi-finals this week.

It promises to be a cracker.

Jack Draper versus Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon 2023 would give the Brit an even greater chance!

And imagine a re-run of the Wimbledon 2022 final between Nick Kyrgios and Djokovic.

That was a warm-up exhibition match just before this month’s Australian Open. Incredibly the contest sold out in just 58 minutes.

That tells you the box office power of these guys at Grand Slams! Scintillating entertainment is guaranteed whenever they walk onto the show courts.

Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon 2023 will be unmissable!

Will you be there to enjoy all the action?

Meanwhile Andy Murray was in fine warm-up fettle when he beat Aussie hero Alex de Minaur in an exhibition match at the Kooyang Classic this week.

And he will need every bit of that promising form when he faces former Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini in the first round of the Australian Open.

The Italian reached the semi-finals in Melbourne last time out and he will come to the party with all guns blazing.

Don’t expect Murray to go quietly though. That one could be a classic too.

Meanwhile 2018 Australian Open semi-finalist Kyle Edmund faces almost as tough a draw as his fellow Brits, when he takes on Jannik Sinner.

And there is the fascinating prospect of Emma Raducanu playing Coco Gauff in the second round of the women’s tournament!

That’s if Raducanu’s ankle has healed enough to help her beat Germany’s Tamara Korpatsch in round one of the Aussie Open.

Can you imagine Emma Raducanu against Coco Gauff on Centre Court at Wimbledon 2023?

Would you like to see all the stars at the most historic and glamorous tournament of them all?
