Check Out British Paralympic Medallist Lucy Shuker On Court 16
Locker Room
July 8, 2016
Are you watching the tennis on the giant screen on Henman Hill? Or just strolling around Wimbledon, wondering what to look at?
Well here’s a suggestion: Britain’s Paralympic Bronze Medallist Lucy Shuker is in action, fourth match up, on Court 16.
The Order of Play showed an 11am start for the first match on that court. So there can’t be long to wait before Lucy makes her entrance.
Shuker won the Wheelchair Doubles bronze medal, alongside Jordanne Whiley, at London 2012.
Jordanne beat her in the Singles yesterday – but now Lucy has another chance to win at Wimbledon.
Her doubles partner is Sabine Ellerbrock and they are playing against Dutch pair Jiske Griffioen and Aniek van Koot this afternoon.
Should be a great match and it will blow your mind how quickly they manage to move those chairs around on grass.
So come and enjoy some live action – and support one of Britain’s top tennis stars!
